Why private practice pricing is different

As a physician-owned private practice, Synergy Rheumatology does not charge facility fees. When the same services are provided at a hospital-based outpatient practice, facility fees — charges for using the hospital's infrastructure — can add hundreds or thousands of dollars to the bill.

A rheumatology consultation that costs $350 here may bill at $1,500 or more at a hospital outpatient facility once facility fees are included. The clinical service is identical — the difference is purely structural.

What to Expect

We handle the administrative side so you can focus on your health.

  • We verify your insurance coverage before your first visit.
  • Prior authorizations are handled in-house — no separate calls on your end.
  • Copays and deductibles are collected at the time of service.
  • We'll provide cost estimates in advance when possible.
